6363 fare dodgers fined in public transport in April

Statistical data of Rīgas satiksme about public transport ticket checkups (bus, trolleybus, tram) in April 2013:

Number of fare dodgers fined in public transport:
Buses	1937
Trolleybuses	2557

Total:	6363
including:
Fine receipts	4552
Fine bills	1811

It is by 716 fare dodgers more than in March 2013, when 5647 fare dodgers were fined in public transport.

Number of ticket checkups in public transport:
Buses	8500
Trolleybuses	8350
Trams	4369
Total:	21219

Just to compare: there were 20935 ticket checkups in March 2013, which is by 284 less than in April 2013.

In April 2013, the maximum number of fined fare dodgers (338) was on tram route No. 6, but the minimum number (1) on trolleybus route No. 20.
